CuraSoin is a system that dental clinics use to run their practice, together with an app that their patients use. It is a product of Wellnex Systems (Private) Limited (“CuraSoin”, “we”), and the patient app is published on Google Play on its behalf by InnovadorSolutions. This policy explains what information the CuraSoin patient app and website handle, why, and what choices you have.
Who is responsible for your information
Your dental clinic decides what is recorded about you and is responsible for your dental record. CuraSoin holds that information on the clinic’s behalf and uses it only to provide the service to the clinic and to you. Questions about what is in your record, or requests to correct it, are best put to your clinic first.
What the patient app handles
- Your mobile number. You sign in with the mobile number your clinic has on record, and a one-time code sent to it.
- Your date of birth. You enter it once to open your record, so that someone else with your phone number cannot.
- Your email address, only if you choose to add a second step to signing in.
- Your dental record, as your clinic shares it with you: your appointments, your prescriptions and any voice note your dentist recorded with one, your invoices and payments, questionnaires your clinic asks you to fill in, and your answers to them.
- Your choices: whether you agree to receive messages from your clinic, and whether you agree to an X-ray being read with the help of AI.
- A notification address for your phone, if you allow notifications, so that your clinic can tell you when an appointment changes.
The app does not read your contacts, your location, your photographs or your microphone, and it contains no advertising and no advertising or analytics trackers.
What we use it for
- To show you your own appointments, prescriptions and account, and to let you book or cancel an appointment.
- To send you sign-in codes, and messages from your clinic about your care if you have agreed to them.
- To keep the service secure, for example by recording sign-ins and changes.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who it is shared with
- Your clinic, whose record it is.
- Companies that deliver messages: the one-time code and clinic messages are sent through WhatsApp (Meta) or by email. They receive your number or address and the message.
- Payment companies, if you pay an invoice online. Your payment is made on their page; CuraSoin does not see or keep your card details.
- An AI service, only with your agreement: if your clinic uses AI to help read X-rays and you have agreed, the image alone is sent for analysis, without your name or record.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Where it is kept, and how it is protected
Information is kept on servers in the European Union (Germany). It travels between your phone and our servers over an encrypted connection. National identity numbers are stored encrypted. Each clinic’s records are kept apart from every other clinic’s. Staff at CuraSoin work with counts and business details and cannot open a patient’s dental record. When a clinic or a patient asks us for help, our support staff may look a patient up by name to find which clinic holds the record; they are shown the name, the record number and the clinic, and nothing from the record. Every such look-up is logged.
How long it is kept
Your clinic keeps your dental record for as long as it is required to by its professional and legal duties. Treatment records are archived two years after your last visit; they are not deleted, and can be restored when you return. Sign-in codes expire within minutes, and app sign-ins end when you sign out.
Children
A child’s record is opened in the app by a parent or guardian, using the mobile number the clinic holds for the family and the child’s date of birth. The app is not directed at children to use on their own.
Your choices and rights
- You can change your answer about messages, and about AI being used on your X-rays, in the app at any time.
- You can turn notifications off in your phone’s settings.
- You can ask your clinic for a copy of your record, or for something in it to be corrected.
- You can ask for your app access and the information held for it to be deleted. Write to us at info@wellnexsystems.com from any address, giving your name, your clinic and your mobile number. We will remove your app sign-ins, notification address and app preferences, and pass your request about the dental record itself to your clinic, which must keep some records by law.
Clinics and their staff
For clinics that use CuraSoin, we hold the names, email addresses and mobile numbers of staff, and the CNIC or NTN given at sign-up, which is checked against the Federal Board of Revenue’s published Active Taxpayer List to verify the clinic. These are used to provide the service, to verify the clinic, and to write to the clinic about its account.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with the date it changed.
